Miracle Working God
Dear Readers,
Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I would like to narrate a personal experience of mine. I was working with one of the export houses based in Delhi, India as the Personal assistant to the Director. I was happy with the job as it was my first job after I had relocated myself in Delhi. After working with this export house for around three to four months I was told that the company is moving to a different location to a place called Gurgaon which is situated in the state of Haryana.It would take me three hours to reach there and three odd hours to reach back home. I used to leave my house d at 0600 hrs in the morning and by the time I reached back home it was almost midnight and my wife used to be on pins and needles always praying to the Almighty for my safe return. When I used to leave the house my little daughter she was sleeping and when I was back home again she was in bed. I could only see her on sundays and play with her and used to take her out.
The day before Good Friday as I was coming back from my work I got stuck in a traffic jam and got home very late and during the course of my travelling my backache worsened. The next day when I was in the Church I decided that I will not go back to the Company after Easter Sunday and I quit. From Apr 12th 2009 till 26th Jun 2009 I was without a job. I joined the new job as the Secretary to the Chairman. I want to tell you how the Lord provides. This job where I am working now was exclusively for females, as it was also given in the newspaper advertisement that only females should apply. Even though I sent in my resume stating that in case the Company does not find a suitable female candidate they may consider my resume. The very next day I received a call from the HR Dept asking me to appear for an interview as the Chairman would like to meet me. After my meeting with him, I was asked to join the very next day. During this period my wife was seriously ill and she was worried as to how she was going to provide for my meals as she was unable to get up from the bed and when I joined I was told that the company provides Food and they even gave me two pairs of suits. I thanked the Almighty God with tears in my eyes that he had provided me with all my needs.during the period when I was without the job the Lord God melted the hearts of the grocer and the chemist who supplied me with my daily needs and medicines for my ailing wife without asking me as to when I am going to return their money.This is just the grace of the Almighty God.
This makes us to realise that those who wait on the Lord are never let down as we serve a faithful God who never forgets us nor His promises and has carved us on the palm of His hand.
