What would attaract you to a medium sized fine Dining Restaurant?

I am taking in charge a 40 people capacity fine dining restaurant that targets all ages with the ambiance, decor and menu. We need to expand our market and stablize our feet in the market after 4 months opening. Any ideas about promotions, marketing strategies, remarks on staff as in general places u see or know or notice? Thank you

Try to establish a strong foothold on the local population where the restaurant is located. From your description, I’m not sure if this is a family friendly restaurant (since you said “all ages”) or fine dining that targets usually customers that belong to the gainfully employed bracket (excluding kids and teens).

Depending on the demographic you want to pump up patronage, make promos, be visible during community activities and pass out menus and do food sampling. Sponsoring contests at your local radio station would give you publicity. You could also market directly to groups, organizations, etc. by giving them discounts, free dinner to be raffled off, inviting them to hold meetings at your venue (which you can close off for that night so that you have a guaranteed full house since you have 40 pax capacity).

Since your ambience is generally intimate, the key is building a personal and intimate client base. Good luck!
