January 26 2004--The Peppermill restaurants serving special Valentine’s weekend meals are the Coffee Shop, Steak House, Romanza Ristorante Italiano and White Orchid. Plus guests can order a special breakfast in bed or a romantic dinner in their room.

The Coffee Shop special for both days will be available from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and will be Gulf shrimp or crabmeat cocktail with spicy cocktail sauce and lemon; choice of soup du jour or house salad followed by an entrée of grilled New York sirloin and prawns with roasted garlic butter, baked potato and fresh seasonal vegetables followed by marbled New York style cheesecake with fresh berry compote. The cost is $24.95 per guest.

How about the intimate Romanza Ristorante Italiano for a truly romantic setting of dining beneath the star-studded domed ceiling. The meal begins with an appetizer followed by soup and salad. Then there is a choice of three different entrees: Butter braised lobster tossed with freshly made egg fettuccine, tomatoes, capers, herbs and pinot grigio cream. Cost is $54.00 per guest or $80.00 with wine selections. The meal will be served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Peppermill’s intimate Steak House special dinner begins with an appetizer followed by soup and then a choice of two entrees: Pistachio crusted sea bass with passion fruit butter and confetti rice or grilled breast of Long Island duckling napped with Grand Marnier sauce, pecan wild rice and spring vegetables.

Dessert is Valhrona chocolate-raspberry bombe with chambord cream. Coast is $54 per guest or $80 with wine selections. The meal will be served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

For the ultimate dining experience take that special someone to the Peppermill’s elegant White Orchid.

The meal begins with an appetizer followed by soup and salad. For the entree there are three choices: Noisette of spring lamb with saffrom potato puree, spring baby vegetables and lamb-Rosemary jus, or roasted rare ahi tuna crusted with foie gras and Oregon mushrooms, served with truffled potatoes and red wine emulsion or pan roasted beef tenderloin with wild mushroom ragout, bacon, chive and potato cake, Merlot butter. Dessert is Godiva chocolate and raspberry cream with wild berry coulis. Cost is $85 per guest or $110 with wine selections. The meal will be served from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
