Home Food

would you marry your fiance if he/she took the remaining food home ?
when we are alone or with friends , we feel free to take home the remaining food we ordered in a Restaurant /cafeteria .
but if you are with your fiance , is this behavior acceptable , esp in Egypt ?
i think the idea itself of taking away the remains is ok, firstly because it’s food that you have paid for and if you didn’t take it it’s like throwing food in the garbage bin (think now of the Ethiopian famine people
) and that’s not ok by every aspect..
Now, Egyptians do like to brag and sometimes showy (manzarra) especially to new people that they still don’t know well, like in your case; a fiancee..
I think that if the other partner is aware of the facts i stated and are on the same grounds that value this thing as not acceptable then it’s 100% ok..
but there are really many possible scenarios for this situations, so there is no just one answer to this case, like for example;
- may be the fiancee has made several previous things and already suspected “not-generous”, so this restaurant situation would never get interpreted as i said before..
- what if she is one of the girls of some related NGO’s in which if she saw him throw the food away, she would end the relationship at once based on the fact that he has no feelings for the poor people whatsoever..possible ha?
