Home Sushi

What is the best way to get fresh sushi fish for making at home?
I live in Boston and am looking for some place to shop.
I live on the West Coast and catch my own tuna, snapper etc. for sushi. Boston is a very fish oriented town. The previous answers are correct, except that if you go to the docks, the fish should be fresh. This is NOT sushi grade. To be sushi grade the fish has to be frozen at least 18 hours to kill any parasites that might be in the flesh of the fish. You don’t want to know what these parasites do if you ingest them without freezing your fish! The types of fish that are best for sushi are Halibut, Red snapper, Salmon, All types of tuna, Bonito, Wahoo, and Scallops. If you can’t find these locally, go to a reputable Large scale supermarket and look there. If the package says “previously frozen”, you are good to go.
