How do I prevent sap seeping out of wood – garden table. Has been doing it for 2 years.?
There is an application you can use called knotting, you paint it on the bare wood in the area of the knot. It is like a varnish and it seals the knots in the wood and stops them leaking sap. Painters used it before painting new wooden frames.
